From the 4th to the 6th of July 2016 the annual event FOSSGIS is taking place at the University of Salzburg, Austria. We from mundialis will also be there to hold a lecture:

which means „Free (geo-)data with free (geo-)software – or: how is geodata carried to the user?“

The FOSSGIS Conference is the leading conference for Free and Open Source Software, Geo-Software and OpenStreetMap. The aim of the annual conference is the dissemination of Free and Open Source Software for Geographic Information Systems. Here users and developers meet for common exchange about applications, job opportunities and latest developments in this field. It’s about webmapping, spatial data infrastructures, spatial data management, geoprocessing, desktop GIS and about free geodata such as OpenStreetMap.
