About the position

mundialis has been in business for over ten years and is based in Bonn’s old town. Our team of 15 works together to make a real and tangible contribution to the environment, society and the future.
We develop data-based solutions in the field of geoinformation and remote sensing to visualise environmental changes, assess climate risks and support sustainable decisions, including in environmental and climate protection, spatial and infrastructure planning, forestry and the public sector.
Our goal is to process complex data in such a way that it is understandable, usable and reliable. In this way, we support our customers in acting responsibly, managing resources better and making sustainable decisions for the long term.
We deliberately rely on open data and open source technologies. In this way, we create transparent and independent solutions and make an active contribution to digital sovereignty, sustainability and social progress.

Your tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and developing our sales activities without having to be a technical expert yourself. You will identify market potential, develop appropriate sales approaches and market our solutions to B2B customers. The aim is to build long-term customer relationships and to structure and stabilise mundialis’ sales activities.

  • Market & potential analysis: Analysis of target groups, markets and potential, as well as prioritisation of suitable sales activities, primarily in the B2B environment.
  • Structure & further development: Participation in the establishment and further development of sales structures, processes and scalable offerings.
  • Acquisition & customer development: Acquisition of new customers in the B2B environment, as well as support and expansion of existing customer and partner relationships with gradual expansion beyond the D-A-CH region.
  • Sales process & closing: Independent management of the sales process from needs assessment and quotation preparation to contract conclusion, including handover to the project team.
  • Representation & networking: Representation of the company at trade fairs, conferences and community events.

Your profile
  • Professional experience: You have experience in B2B sales of products or services that require explanation, ideally in the field of technology, software or services.
  • Understanding of sales: You enjoy developing existing sales structures, identifying market potential and clearly defining target groups. Ideally, you have already been actively involved in sales in a smaller or growing company.
  • Industry affinity: You are interested in technical and data-driven topics and are willing to familiarise yourself with new content. Experience with IT, geodata, software or environmental and sustainability issues is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • Working style: You work independently, in a structured and proactive manner, keep track of leads and offers, and feel comfortable in a small, growing team.
  • Communication: You are confident in dealing with a variety of contacts, from technical experts to senior management, and can communicate complex content in an understandable way.

Preferred qualification
